Day 4: I JUST WANT SOME BREAD!

So today I woke up (really late) and somehow, a bag of mini bagels mysteriously appeared on the counter. I had to look around and see if anyone was testing my will power, because there is nothing in this world I love to eat more than bagels. Honestly, if I were a superhero, my kryptonite would be bread. I can visualize a super villain just chucking french baguettes at my face!

So after seeing the bagels, I opted for a massive breakfast to hopefully subside my craving. I made 3 eggs and a whopping 4 slices of Canadian bacon. I almost didn't finish it all.  I also had some carrot juice.

And as I went about my day around the house, the bagels were calling to me. As well as the Cocoa Krispies cereal (my favorite!) and my sister's Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. For some reason, today was crazy hard to stay away from all this stuff.

So I continued to eat throughout the day to keep myself full and maybe find a little self control. I ate an apple and snacked on some almonds.

For dinner I had a HUGE salad with pork tenderloin, olives, and green beans. No dressing. I was stuffed afterwards! I had a spoonful of honey afterwards as "dessert" and a cup of tea.

I've decided at 10 days I'm going to treat myself to a recipe for paleo pancakes that I found. They're not 100% paleo friendly since they contain baking soda and baking powder. But it's such a small amount that I don't think it will screw with my stomach too much. Then at day 20, I'm going to treat myself to paleo chocolate pudding, which is a recipe I've devised myself, so I have no clue if it will turn out good, haha. So now I have goals and rewards to look towards.

Also, I've lost 5 lbs in the 4 days since starting this new way of eating. Pretty incredible! It's definitely a testament to how terrible I was eating beforehand.

Anyway, time to watch The Biggest Loser season premiere!
